Apple confiture
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Ingredients. You will learn all the subtleties of preparing preparations for the winter by reading the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 2
Wash the apples, remove the stems and core.
STEP 3
Remove the skin.
STEP 4
Cut into pieces. Pass the apple pulp through a grater and sprinkle it with sugar, thoroughly mixing the two ingredients. If the apple variety itself is sweet, it is advisable to add less sugar. Accordingly, if they are almost not sweet, you will have to add a larger proportion of sugar than indicated in the composition.
STEP 5
Leave the grated and candied apples for 10 minutes to release their juices. When the juice has accumulated, pour it along with the apples into a wide container and place it on the stove. We begin to cook, while setting the heat to low. How to choose a pan, read the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 6
As it boils, the apple mass will become denser and more transparent. You must constantly monitor it and stop the process when the apple confiture reaches a suitable state. Just before the end of cooking, pour cinnamon into the mixture and stir with a spoon.
STEP 7
While the confiture is still hot, we immediately begin to pour it into sterilized jars. Jars, like lids, should be boiled in boiling water for more than 10 minutes. Store as much as you like and enjoy! Read about methods for sterilizing jars in a separate article. There is a link at the end of this recipe.
STEP 8
Bon appetit!
