But when it comes to cooking soups, there is one feature that you need to pay attention to. We are talking about fried vegetables added to a dish at the end of cooking. If you find a recipe for chicken soup in a slow cooker, where all the ingredients are cooked exclusively, everything is fine. There you just need to put all the products in the bowl, turn on the desired mode and go to rest.
If you decide to cook a full-fledged chicken soup in a slow cooker, then you will need to put in a little more effort.
First of all, the frying is prepared: chopped carrots and onions are fried in oil for about 15 minutes (“Baking” mode). Then potatoes and chicken, cut into pieces, are added to them. Everything is salted and peppered. Add other spices if desired. Everything is filled with water. The lid closes tightly and the “Extinguishing” mode is turned on for an hour and a half.
