Activate the yeast by diluting it with warm water

Divide the finished dough into parts (our recipe will make 10 buns). The dough will not stick if the table is dusted with flour.

Roll out the pieces into flat cakes 1 cm thick and evenly distribute poppy seeds and sugar on each one.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place the pieces on a baking sheet greased with any fat and leave for 20 minutes.

Want to keep your buns from sinking and becoming soggy? Rule number one: place finished products only on a wooden surface covered with paper. Rule number two - the buns should cool gradually, so cover them with a cloth.
