  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to knead yeast dough for frying in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Heat the milk in the microwave to 36 degrees. It should be warm, but not scalding. Add sugar, a tablespoon of flour and dry yeast to a bowl of warm milk. Stir the mixture and leave it in a warm place for 15 minutes. During this time, a foam cap should form on the surface of the yeast mixture (quick dough). If this does not happen, then the yeast will have to be replaced.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg with a pinch of salt until smooth and pour into the bowl with the yeast mixture. Pour in vegetable oil and mix everything well.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Start pouring the sifted wheat flour into the bowl with the liquid mixture. This should be done in parts, stirring the dough with a spoon each time.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

When it becomes difficult to knead the dough with a spoon, place it on a table sprinkled with flour and continue kneading with your hands, adding more flour. Yeast dough loves your hands, so you need to knead it longer. You can grease your hands with vegetable oil to prevent the dough from sticking.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

You may need a little more or less flour than the amount indicated in the ingredients, since the density and quality of flour varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Therefore, you need to focus on the consistency of the dough; it should be smooth, elastic, slightly sticky to your hands, but not sticky. Roll the yeast dough for frying pies in a frying pan into a ball. You can proceed to preparing products with any filling.

I was thinking about what to bake... I haven’t baked pies for a long time, and “Yeast dough for frying in a frying pan” turned out to be suitable. I added sugar, flour and dry yeast to warm milk. Placed in a warm oven (50 degrees) to activate the yeast. The cap appeared after about 20 minutes. I beat the eggs with butter in a tall glass with a mixer into an emulsion. Then I combined it with the dough, gradually adding flour. I didn’t knead the entire amount, I had about 80 g of flour left. Next time, I can use even less, so the dough will turn out even more airy. First, I baked a simple thin cake in a small amount of butter. I was worried about how this dough would behave, because... I baked this recipe for the first time. Bubbles immediately began to appear. When the cake was browned, put it on a paper towel. How delicious it turned out! Crispy and at the same time not hard, aromatic! Now I boldly began to form the pies. I baked them in a small amount of sunflower oil. In the frying pan, they immediately began to swell and become covered with bubbles. First I held it under the closed lid, then removed it to form a crust. Yes, next time you should definitely mix a larger portion, everyone liked it. Crispy crust, tender crumb. It also turned out very tasty in the oven. Place the formed pies to proof (about 20 minutes) and bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. I would also like to note that in both fried and oven-baked pies, the dough does not have a yeasty taste at all. It turns out that it can be kneaded and baked either immediately, or allowed to rise a little after it has been formed. This is convenient because you don’t need to knead the dough several times and the taste is excellent. The pies turned out delicious!!! Thank you very much for the recipe!!
