I tried to make waffles according to your recipe, they turned out very tasty and tender. I used to make a slightly different recipe: a glass of flour, a glass of sugar, 3 eggs and 100g of margarine, try it, it turns out very tasty. Also, if you add some kind of filling to the tubes, it’s absolutely delicious. However, the filling for waffle rolls can always be very different.

I love waffles! We tried making them on new waffle irons, but they didn’t turn out as tasty as on the old ones. True, instead of butter I add margarine, then they turn out more aromatic and tastier than with butter. But I didn’t even know about vanillin; next time I cook, I’ll definitely add it. Our waffle iron is an old Soviet one, it has been serving us for more than twenty years and will serve us for the same amount of time, but the new one we bought a year ago has already broken down. They knew how to do this before!

This recipe turned out to be a very thick dough! The spoon stood, as they say. I added a little water to make the dough at least a little thinner. I fried them on an electric grill and they came out shaped like Viennese waffles. Delicious, sweet, crispy. If I fried it in a waffle iron, it would have turned out perfect.
