Vanilla cake in boiling water
A very delicate cake with notes of vanilla and condensed milk cream. Tasty. Original.
The cake is baked in a slow cooker, but can also be made in the oven. Less time is spent, but the cake in the oven will not be as high.
Instead of milk powder, you can add 6 tablespoons of cocoa and then you will get a chocolate cake.

What an interesting cake, to my shame I don’t know what a slow cooker is, or rather I heard about it, but didn’t go into details, now I’ll definitely look into it. In the meantime, I’ll try baking it in the oven; the appearance and composition looks very promising.

I posted a photo of the multicooker. A very convenient thing. He even cooks porridge with milk. And it will work in the oven too, just a little lower. The taste of the cake is, of course, amazing.

I’m embarrassed to admit, but I’ve never heard of adding boiling water to cake batter before - thank you for my discovery! In general, the recipe is very simple, the cake looks delicious, you just want to eat a piece! I would like to point out another advantage of this recipe - cooking in a slow cooker: you set a timer and you don’t worry about the cake burning!

The cake is so delicious that I make it every day. People don't get bored. She offered to make chocolate, but they flatly refused. This is the only one they want. So I do the same thing.

I prefer to cook exclusively in the oven. An old, proven method. But you have to get used to all these “multi-cookers”, etc. The recipe for a cake in boiling water... intrigued me. I'll definitely try to do it.

I always thought so too and cooked exclusively in the oven. I used the slow cooker to cook only main courses. I haven't tried baking yet. One and the same recipe, but the output is two different products. And it's easy to cook. Pour in the dough and turn on. However, I haven’t tried a stiffer dough. I still use the oven.

Very tasty dish! Unusual cake. And thank you very much for the advice with the multicooker, it greatly simplifies the cooking process. Thank you very much for the recipe!
