STEP 1

How to make turkey liver with onions in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary products. If the liver is frozen, it must be thawed in advance on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Take odorless vegetable oil.
STEP 2

Wash the pre-peeled onions and cut into half rings.
STEP 3

Add vegetable oil to the pan. Fry the onions over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
STEP 4

Wash the liver and dry it well. Remove particles of fat and film. Cut the liver into desired size pieces. If desired, the liver pieces can be lightly breaded in flour.
STEP 5

Place the liver in the pan with the onions.
STEP 6

Fry the liver over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until the color changes. It should become lighter and more uniform, and the pieces inside should remain pinkish in color. Do not keep the liver in the pan for too long, otherwise it will not turn out tender and soft.
STEP 7

At the end of cooking, salt the liver and add any spices to taste and desire. If you use ready-made spice mixtures, be sure to read the ingredients on the package. Keep in mind that often such mixtures already contain salt. Mix everything. Pour in a little hot water (about 2 tbsp).

Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the liver over low heat for about 4-5 minutes.
