Thanks for the recipe, I'll try making these croutons this weekend. I do it a little differently: I cut the loaf, beat the egg in a separate bowl. I add some seasonings and salt there. I heat up the frying pan with oil. Then I dip the loaf on both sides in egg and fry it. The result is simply delicious and looks just like yours. Try it!
