STEP 1

How to bake puff pastries with sugar in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Buy puff pastry in the store, but it is better to take the dough in plates - they are easier to cut and faster to defrost or cook yourself. At the end of the recipe you will find a link to recipes for homemade puff pastry. If you have store-bought dough, then remove it from the freezer and let it defrost.
STEP 2

Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer no more than 5 mm thick. If the dough is ready in plates, then you do not need to roll it out much. Cut the dough into equal rectangles or squares.
STEP 3

Sprinkle the puffs evenly with sugar. Transfer the dough pieces to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
STEP 4

Leave the puff pastries to prove for 10-15 minutes. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 20 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface of the dough. STEP 5

Remove the finished yeast-free puff pastry puffs from the oven, cool slightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve along with aromatic hot tea, coffee or cocoa. Bon appetit!
