    How to make strawberry tincture with vodka? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. This aromatic tincture can be made with moonshine, alcohol or vodka. I took vodka. Keep in mind that depending on the chosen alcoholic base, the percentage of alcohol in the finished tincture will be different.

    The drink will turn out even tastier and healthier if you use strawberries from your own plot, grown without chemical fertilizers. For the tincture, you can use either fresh, frozen or dry strawberries. Rinse the berries thoroughly under running water, remove the stalks, as well as rotten and spoiled berries. Place them in a colander and let the water drain completely. If the berries are large, cut the strawberries into quarters or halves.

    Place strawberries and sugar in a clean glass container. I usually have a jar, but it is better to use dark glass containers for preparing the drink. Pour the contents with vodka so that it covers the berries by a couple of centimeters. Close the jar with strawberries tightly with a nylon lid and place in a dark place at room temperature. Regularly, at least once every three days, take out the jar with the preparation and shake it so that the sugar dissolves.

    Keep the tincture for about 45 days. After the specified time, strain the tincture through gauze folded in several layers. To make the drink more transparent, you can put a piece of cotton wool between the layers of gauze. The tincture is ready! The strength turned out to be about 26 degrees, but this will depend on the alcohol base. Berry pulp from the tincture can be used to make baked goods or desserts for adults.

    Pour the tincture into bottles and seal. This drink can be stored in a cool, dark place for about 3 years. If desired, you can diversify the taste of the strawberry liqueur by enriching it with a citrus aftertaste, adding lemon zest to the ingredients when preparing it, or creating light notes of oak in the taste by using cognac as the alcoholic base.
