  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

We will need strawberries and sugar.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

    Remove sepals from strawberries

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

We select berries from the water using a sieve so that all the debris remains at the bottom. Let the water drain.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the berries in the multicooker bowl and cover with granulated sugar. Turn on the Warm mode for 30 minutes.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After the end of the mode, carefully mix. Strawberries will give a lot of juice.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Turn on the Jam (Dessert) mode for two hours. If your multicooker does not have such a mode, bring the contents to a boil on any strong mode, then switch to Multicooker, 100 degrees. The jam is being prepared with the lid closed. After the signal, unplug the multicooker and leave the jam in it for a day. During this time, it will thicken to the desired consistency.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Makes about one and a half liters of jam. We eat it up very quickly! Happy preparations.

Amazing recipe! I have never made jam in a slow cooker, I accidentally came across this recipe and decided to make strawberry jam in a slow cooker. It's incredibly easy and fast! I collected the strawberries, weighed them, sorted them and washed them. I put berries and granulated sugar into the multicooker container and turned on the heating mode, as the author writes. Then I prepared the jam in the “stew” mode, I have a Redmond multicooker. I put it in jars and rolled it up. The result was 1.5 liters of jam, as the author indicated. The multicooker assistant basically does all the work; I spent very little time on cooking. A great option for making strawberry treats! No need to stand near the stove and wait for it to boil, no need to stir to prevent it from burning, no need to skim off the foam. Cooking with a multicooker saves a lot of time. The jam turned out thick, aromatic and very tasty! Thanks to the author!

This recipe is also suitable for canning; you just need to prepare and sterilize the jars with lids in advance. You should also add a little water, this ensures that there will be not just a thick mass, but syrup and preserved whole berries. The only downside is that you can’t make a lot of jam at once in a slow cooker.

You can't cook too much, that's for sure. By the way, I never add water to strawberry jam; the berries give a lot of juice. If you want more whole berries, you can cook the jam in two stages, for an hour each time.
