Squirrel cake with milk and cookies without baking
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it thaws to room temperature. Can be cut into cubes. The photo shows hazelnuts, but the recipe calls for walnuts. It doesn't really matter - take any. I actually decorated the cake with almonds.
STEP 2

Take a deep bowl. Grind eggs with sugar in it. It is more convenient to take a wooden spoon so as not to scratch the bowl when rubbing. The bowl can be glass or porcelain.
STEP 3

Add butter. Grind the entire mixture until smooth. The mixture is considered ready if you can't hear the creaking of sugar. This is the longest part of the preparation - you can turn on the player or TV.
STEP 4

Grind the cookies in a coffee grinder or hand mill into fine crumbs. Break ¾ of the nuts into small pieces, set aside the other nuts. Add cookies and crushed nuts to the mixture and stir thoroughly. While stirring, pour in the milk until thick.
STEP 5

Let it soak in, then transfer to a pan lined with oiled paper. I used a food bag. It is not necessary to smooth the surface of the cake to perfection. You can sprinkle grated chocolate or cocoa on top.
STEP 6

Place in the freezer until completely frozen. The main thing is, don’t forget about it. If it is not possible to provide the freezer for your cake’s undivided use, wrap the pan with it in a food freezer bag to prevent the absorption of foreign odors.
STEP 7

After the cake has hardened, place it on a plate and decorate the top with the remaining nuts. Store in the refrigerator until serving.
