STEP 1
How to make a spread for sandwiches? Very simple. Prepare everything you need. One of the seasonal ingredients is garlic arrows, and you can hardly find them in the store. But in the summer you can prepare them for future use by grinding them in a food processor and freezing them in the freezer. This will allow you not to deny yourself this healthy dish in winter. Garlic cloves, unfortunately, are not suitable as an alternative to garlic cloves, neither in taste nor in color.
STEP 2
If your garlic arrows are whole, then rinse them under running water, dry them, grind them in a meat grinder or chop them with a blender. If you are using already frozen garlic arrows, then combine it with cream cheese, add a tasty and simple spread in a glass jar and put it in the refrigerator overnight. It will become denser, soak well and excess bitterness will disappear.
STEP 3
If desired, you can replace cream cheese with cottage cheese mixed with cream, the taste will be different, more delicate and less spicy. You can simply serve this spread with rye or wheat bread for hot dishes or soup, or with flatbread. You can also supplement sandwiches with sausage and ham with this garlic spread by spreading it on the bread and putting, for example, a piece of meat and cheese on top. It turns out very spicy, aromatic and tasty.
