  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make sausages in yeast dough in the oven? As easy as pie! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take premium flour. Butter should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour warm milk heated to 40°C into a bowl. Add sugar, salt and yeast. Mix everything. Yeast that is suitable is either one that is immediately poured into flour, or one that needs to be diluted in a warm liquid.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

    Add the egg and stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sift the flour and knead the dough. It will stick to your hands a lot.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

In the process, add soft butter and continue kneading into a homogeneous dough. It should be soft and not stick to your hands. Add a little more flour if necessary.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Form the dough into a ball and place in a bowl.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cover the bowl with a towel and leave the dough warm for 1 hour to rise.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Prepare the filling. Clean the sausages from the factory film. I have milk sausages. You can use any sausages for the dish. But keep in mind that they can greatly affect the final taste of the dish. For example, if you take sausages with a pronounced smoked taste, then the whole dish will also have a slight smoked taste. If you want a neutral flavor, use regular sausages, such as milk or butter.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the risen yeast dough on a floured table and roll out into a rectangle. Using a knife, cut the dough into 10 long strips approximately 2-3 cm wide. The number of strips should be equal to the number of sausages. I only had 9 sausages in the package, but there is enough dough for 10.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Wrap each sausage with a strip of dough.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Prepare the ingredients for greasing.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Combine the egg yolk with milk and stir until smooth.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Place the sausages in the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment and brush with egg yolk and milk using a brush. Bake the sausages in the dough for 15-20 minutes at 190°C until golden brown. To make the dough softer and not dry out, you can place a baking sheet with water on the bottom of the oven. Bon appetit!

I prepared sausages in yeast dough in the oven at my daughter’s request. I made the dough in a bread machine. It took an hour and a half to knead and rise the dough. My daughter took an active part in “wrapping” the sausages. There was enough dough for ten pieces, as noted in the recipe. The sausages were baked in the oven for twenty minutes. For the last five minutes, I moved the baking sheet to the top shelf of the oven so that the dough could brown better. The sausages in the dough came out excellent. The dough was well browned and turned out soft and very tender. The sausages are very juicy. Eating such baked goods is a real pleasure. Maria, thank you very much for the recipe!

Quick and easy recipe. I really liked it! I added a little to the recipe by sprinkling the buns with sesame seeds.

The dough turned out soft and tasty, but I would add more salt and less sugar.

Baking from our childhood...mmmAuthor, thank you very much for this recipe!🌺Fragrant and rosy sausages in the dough are simply great for eating with broth or tea, especially in the cold season. There is an incredible smell in the apartment and even in the entrance! I prepared the dough strictly according to the recipe, but instead of sausages I was forced to use a sausage cut in half (this is what I had at home at that time). No one could resist this baking and by the next morning there was nothing left. What else does a housewife and mother need? - well-fed and satisfied loved ones 😊 Be sure to cook this recipe and bon appetit to everyone! Upcoming holidays!
