Hot sausage sandwiches and mayonnaise in the oven can be prepared for breakfast, as a first course, and even for dinner. They turn out filling and very tasty. Indeed, you can add whatever is in the refrigerator to the filling). The basis of my sandwiches were pieces of loaf, on which I laid out a thick layer of juicy filling. The filling included tomato cubes, chopped parsley, a clove of garlic, and a mixture of peppers. Boiled sausage was replaced with ham. I seasoned this “salad” with tomato ketchup and sour cream. Sour cream is quite suitable for this case. Topped with shredded cheddar. I baked the sandwiches for 10 minutes at 200°, which was enough time. The loaf pieces dried out and became crispy. And that great crunch pairs perfectly with the juicy and spicy filling!
