- STEP 1 - Let's prepare the ingredients according to the list. The products needed to prepare the salad are simple, accessible and cheap. It is better to use fresh carrots to prepare the salad; they are juicier and the salad will turn out tastier. Wash the carrots, peel them (if the carrots are only from the garden, you don’t need to peel them, just rub them with a stiff brush), grate them on a coarse grater or a grater for Korean salads. 
- STEP 2 - We also grate the processed cheese. To make it easier to grate, you can first place it in the freezer for half an hour. 
- STEP 3 - Peel the garlic clove and pass it through a fine-mesh grater or press. Those who like spicier salads can increase the amount of garlic. 
- STEP 4 - Place the prepared ingredients in a deep salad bowl. Add salt to taste, but you need to consider what the salad will be seasoned with. If it’s mayonnaise, then you don’t need a lot of salt; if you use sour cream, you can increase the amount of salt. I use sour cream. 
- STEP 5 - Season the salad and mix. Let the salad soak and put it in the refrigerator for an hour. You can serve the salad at the table, in a large salad bowl or in small portions. This salad will perfectly complement a side dish of potatoes, pasta, cereals, hot meat, or serve as an independent dish - an appetizer for a feast and strong drinks. Bon appetit!
