STEP 1
How to make rice with chicken in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. I'll cook it with chicken fillet. But you can use any pieces of chicken, including those with bones. Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them to remove dirt. Finely chop the onion, and the carrots can be cut into cubes, circles, or simply grated.
STEP 3
Pour some vegetable oil into a hot frying pan. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and place in a frying pan. Fry the meat for 5-7 minutes until it changes color and begins to brown a little. Read the separate article at the end of the recipe for how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying.
STEP 4
Then add the prepared vegetables - onions and carrots - to the pan. Fry everything together for a couple of minutes. The vegetables will begin to develop a characteristic aroma.
STEP 5
Rinse the rice and place it in the pan with the chicken. Fill everything with hot water. Add a little salt and spices to taste. As a spice, I take a ready-made set of chicken spices. But you can take something to your taste. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the rice and chicken for 20-30 minutes. During this time, the rice will absorb water and become softer. If all the water has evaporated and the rice is not ready yet, you can add a little more. Just a little bit so that the rice doesn't turn into mush.
STEP 6
Rice with chicken is ready! Leave it for another 15 minutes just to stand under the lid to steam. Arrange the finished dish on plates and serve. Bon appetit!
