    Add honey (or sugar) to the crushed mass and mix thoroughly. The filling will become more viscous. Use your taste when adding a sweet ingredient. If you like it sweeter, increase the amount of honey, but take into account the sweetness of the raisins. To vary the taste, you can add orange or lemon zest. It will give the filling a light citrus aroma.

I found your recipe and decided to make poppy seed filling for the roll. I boiled poppy seeds in 200 ml of water, put them on cheesecloth, and let the liquid drain completely. Since my child does not like raisins, I crushed steamed and dried light raisins in a blender. Then she added a handful of walnuts and chopped them again. Then I added boiled poppy seeds and 100 grams of sugar instead of honey, and again crushed well until sweet milk appeared, as the author writes. I tried it and I’ll be honest - it’s mega delicious!!!
