Pies with peas
Delicious hot traditional Russian pies will fly off the table. The pies turn out very tasty. The dough is soft, not dry, and remains soft for a long time. If your family is large, prepare a double portion at once; they are eaten very quickly.

How beautiful your pies are, Irisha! You need to have talent to work with dough. I have a problem: I’m not good with yeast dough, unlike my mother and grandmother. Talent was not inherited, which is a pity. And you, Irisha, as I see it, willingly tinker with the dough. And you do a great job. You are just great!

Olga, thank you for your kind words, very very nice. I also used to think that the dough didn’t like me and was sooooo afraid of it, even for dumplings it was scary to knead the dough)) but now if I don’t play with it at least once a week, it becomes so boring. the most important thing is that I noticed that the dough loves a good mood, you need to love it))) my husband always laughs at me when I start praising the dough during kneading

Irisha, dumplings, dumplings, cakes - everything turns out great, that is, anything, just not yeast dough. Thanks for the advice, I’ll choose a particularly good sunny day, when no one will have time to ruin my mood, and I’ll risk baking something from yeast dough, having first had a “nice conversation” with him.

Excellent and beautiful pies! I have a little advice. Sometimes I come across very “difficult” peas, so I don’t soak them overnight, but just when they boil, I throw a pinch of baking soda into the boiling water with the peas. It then cooks quickly and cooks well. Try it and see the result. Bon appetit everyone.
