Today I decided to bake a pie with apples and plums. I kneaded the dough. I used instant flakes and they fit perfectly into the dough. The method of preparing the pie seemed unusual to me in that the crust, filling and decoration for the pie are all made separately. I set the crust to bake and started filling. I crushed the finished fruits with an immersion blender and kept them on the stove a little longer for greater thickness. When the filling cooled, it became thicker. Lastly, I prepared the decorations for the pie; I made some using a cookie cutter, and made some myself. When everything was ready, I put the cake on a dish, evenly distributed the plum-apple filling on top and placed the finished decoration on top. . This pie is not quick to make, but it turns out very tasty! The children ate with pleasure!

The simple ingredients in the dough made it very easy to prepare. My apple pie came out as hard as a cookie. The most surprising thing is that the sugar was perfectly chosen - I don’t like sweets, but 4 tablespoons of sugar for the filling was just enough so that it was not sour from the plums, but not cloyingly sweet either. And the unsweetened dough complemented everything perfectly! However, I didn’t want to cut the pie, I had to break it off :) Although the filling did not flow, as I immediately feared. It turned out delicious, everyone was happy.
