  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make dough for pies without kefir and yeast on water? Prepare all ingredients. Wash the chicken egg and dry it with a napkin. Take the highest grade wheat flour. I recommend taking bottled or filtered water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour the water into a small ladle or pan and place on the stove. Heat the water to about 60C, then remove the ladle from the heat and dissolve the salt in the warm water. Take a container for kneading the dough and sift the wheat flour into it through a fine sieve.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Set about a spoonful of flour aside - add it to the dough as needed. Make a well in the center of the sifted flour and pour warm, salted water into it. Begin mixing the ingredients gently with a spoon or fork first to avoid burning your hands. Then continue kneading the dough with your hands. Keep in mind that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the composition. To do this, we set aside some of the flour.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

During the kneading process, beat a raw chicken egg into the dough and continue to knead it well. When the dough can be formed into a ball, transfer it to a floured work surface. Knead the dough with your hands for 10 minutes. The dough should become elastic and soft and not stick to your hands.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the kneaded dough into a bowl, sprinkle lightly with flour and set aside for half an hour, covering with a napkin or towel. When the time is up, knead the dough with your hands and you can start making pies.

As a quick option, it will do. But still, if time allows and all the ingredients are available, it is better, in my opinion, to knead the yeast dough. The pies will 100% taste better.

This is truly a lifesaver! This dough can be prepared very easily and quickly from very simple ingredients. I mixed all the ingredients, added a little vegetable oil as recommended by the author, kneaded and voila. The dough is soft and tender, smooth and homogeneous. The dough rested for a while and became even more pleasant to the touch and more elastic. I made apple pies and baked them in the oven for half an hour. There were exactly 12 pieces, just like the author’s) Such simple products made such delicious pies! The dough is wonderful! I recommend to everyone? Many thanks to the author for the help!!!
