I prepared crumbly millet porridge in a slow cooker for breakfast as a separate dish. Therefore, I added sugar to it (5 teaspoons). I replaced half the required amount of water with milk (200 ml water and 200 ml milk). The porridge was prepared using the “Grains” mode. After 25 minutes she was ready. I left the porridge to steep for another ten minutes. The millet porridge really turned out crumbly. The cereal was well cooked. True, it seemed to me that the porridge was a little dry, but this is a matter of taste. Otherwise, everything is excellent: tasty and satisfying. Just what you need for breakfast. Thanks for the recipe!

I saw this recipe about five years ago, on a website for dishes for Lent. I was very interested and prepared it. The whole family liked it. Now I’m also preparing a non-lenten version - with butter and sour cream, both on the stove and in the slow cooker. One of these days I’ll be cooking it and I’ll post the recipe!
