    STEP 1

How to cook corn porridge in a slow cooker? It's not difficult at all. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can take any milk of your preferred fat content. Or you can dilute it with water in a 50:50 ratio. You can use a sweetener instead of sugar. Instead of hard butter, use ghee.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the corn grits until clean and pour into the multicooker bowl. Mine is yellow, yours may turn out to be white - the color of the cereal does not matter here. Pour in the milk.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add sugar and salt to taste. Put in butter. Mix everything and turn on the “Porridge” (or “Milk porridge”) mode. Cook until the signal is ready.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

My porridge was cooked for 25 minutes and simmered for 10 minutes in the “Warming” mode. You can add jam, nuts, cinnamon, etc. to the finished porridge. Bon appetit!

I often cook porridge for my child, but on the stove in a saucepan, having a slow cooker) I wanted to try making porridge using smart technology and I found this recipe. I really liked the ease of preparation. I made corn porridge with milk as a test, reducing the amount of ingredients by half using the site’s calculator, which is very convenient. The milk was 1.5% fat and not diluted with water. My corn grits are medium grind. I placed all the ingredients in the multicooker bowl and turned on the “porridge” mode. I cooked it in the Redmond multicooker for 15 minutes and let the porridge simmer for 10 minutes. The porridge turned out to be medium thick, yellow, aromatic, sweet and tasty. An excellent recipe, you don’t need to stand near the stove in case the milk runs away, stir constantly so that it doesn’t burn. I really enjoyed making porridge in the slow cooker! I recommend it to everyone! Not only the child really liked the milky corn porridge in a slow cooker with milk. The adults were also delighted. Next time I'll do more) Thank you!

I prepared corn milk porridge for breakfast in a slow cooker with milk. I made it per 1 liter of liquid (4 servings). I took the milk and half the water. Increased the amount of sugar to 5 teaspoons. My slow cooker does not have a special mode for preparing milk porridges, but according to the instructions for use, porridge can be cooked in the “Soup” mode. I turned it on. By default, the mode lasts 1 hour. I left it like that. During this time, the porridge boiled perfectly, and the cereal turned out soft. The bottom of the porridge has browned a little. I think it could have been cooked in 15 minutes less. I believe that this would not have happened in the special “Milk porridge” mode. It didn't affect the taste at all. The porridge turned out very tasty. Thank you very much for the recipe!

The multicooker is a very good thing, in the morning I decided to cook porridge for breakfast, delayed the cooking time until 7 o’clock in the morning, put everything in, poured it in the evening, and by 8 am it was ready! very tasty porridge, simple as shelling pears, no complicated ingredients, I also added a little vanillin for flavor and pieces of fruit (banana, kiwi, cherry). Since I have a sweet tooth, I added a lot of sugar, it turned out just super, you'll lick your fingers! fast, tasty, simple!

I often cook corn porridge for breakfast in a slow cooker on a delayed start. I put everything in a miracle pot, and in the morning you will smell of porridge. The miracle pot did everything itself while you were sleeping. I just add some cheese and a little butter to the plate and the sunny breakfast is ready.

Favorite porridge. For health and taste, I add either pumpkin (according to the season) or prunes. But prunes if I cook porridge without milk.
