  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make meringue on a stick? Prepare these foods. Separate the whites from the yolks. This is approximately 3 eggs. You can take sugar and powdered sugar in half.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place egg whites in a mixer cup. I took it from the refrigerator. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the whites at once. Beat the egg whites at medium speed until light peaks form, just like this. It is necessary. Proteins are thus enriched with oxygen.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Next, turn on the mixer at full power and beat, adding powdered sugar 1 teaspoon at a time. At 10 second intervals.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

When the powder is finished, beat for another 5 minutes. The meringue is ready, it looks shiny and all the powdered sugar should have dissolved.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Divide our mass into 3 parts.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add a few drops of food coloring. I have a helium one. So we should have a pink part, a turquoise part and a yellow part. Or, at your discretion, other colors.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

My nozzle is a closed star.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Take a piping bag and apply one at a time. First yellow, then turquoise, then pink. Or vice versa.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

This is what our colored bag will look like.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Take a silicone mat or baking paper. Prepare your chopsticks. Pipe a little cream to secure the sticks. And make bezeshki.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Plant small meringues in the free space. You can then stick the sticks into the meringue, before the oven.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Place in the oven preheated to 90 degrees for 2 hours. It is better to bake them at this temperature, otherwise they will crack.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

At the end, I opened the oven and left the meringue to dry. That's it, the meringues are ready! You can decorate the cake! We store the meringues in a dry place.

Meringue on a stick turned out to be a very attractive idea for me - I wanted to make a beautiful decoration for baking. I tried this recipe, but only used half the ingredients. I measured the whites on a kitchen scale (a tedious task, the whites slipped off and were not measured in the right amount, I probably should lightly beat them with a fork until they become more liquid before weighing). I used gel dye, only one color. Instead of sticks, I took toothpicks and inserted them into the meringue already placed on the parchment. I baked it in a gas oven with the door slightly open (since it does not maintain low temperatures, I set it to the lowest setting and secured the door with a box, leaving a gap of about 10 cm). I baked it for about 1.5 hours, then left it in the oven to cool. Meringue turned out! Some things have very small cracks (probably you need to get used to the temperature). Meringues look great as a decoration, and they are also a tasty delicacy in themselves. I didn’t really like how it looked from the back, but you can decorate the bumps with cream or connect two pieces together like marshmallows (or practice placing them more tightly together). Overall, the recipe is great! Thank you!

Thanks for the recipe and holiday decoration idea! Unfortunately, my mixer is weak, with a thin wire whisk, and is not designed for long-term use, so my mixture did not reach maximum thickness, like yours, but still the meringues did not float much. Dried in a slightly open oven for 1 hour at 90 degrees. They dried out perfectly! Easy to prepare (provided you have a good mixer!) and a delicious treat! I did a trial version, a training one))), now by the New Year there will be a test!
