    First of all, I put fresh meat in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. Lightly frozen meat is easier to cut into thin strips, and this is what you will need to do first. The beef strips should be approximately 0.7-1 cm long. Place the beef strips in a bowl. I add soy sauce, liquid smoke, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Mix well so that it is evenly distributed. I leave it overnight.

    I cook jerky in a special dryer - a dehydrator. For information, those who don’t know yet: https://goo.gl/pYdhXN. I throw the pieces of meat there (lay them out on the shelves) and leave them for 8 hours at a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius. And I forget about them. After 8 hours I check, if everything is dry, I take out the meat. In general, I would like to recommend the dehydrator to meat lovers. Although you can do this in the oven, I’m not sure about the taste.
