  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to stew liver in soy sauce? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the garlic and pass through a press, or chop with a knife or fine grater.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Rinse the liver thoroughly in running water to remove blood, remove films and ducts. Dry. Cut to your liking. I cut it into medium pieces.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

In a deep bowl, combine liver, garlic, 1.5 tablespoons of vegetable oil, starch, paprika, and ground pepper. You can use any other spices you like. When frying, starch will help form a crispy crust, which will keep the liver juicy.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix everything well, it is convenient to do this with a spoon.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Separately, combine soy sauce and sugar in a container and mix.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Heat the remaining vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the liver in the pan. Fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes until a golden crust appears on the liver.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add soy sauce and sugar to the pan. Fry the liver for another 2 minutes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Gradually pour in hot water. Season the gravy with salt if necessary. Bring the gravy to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Serve the liver in soy sauce with your favorite side dish, add parsley or dill. The gravy can be strained to remove the starch flakes. It will be a great addition to the dish. Bon appetit!

I love liver) I’ve cooked it in different ways: with onions, fried, in soda, stewed, in cake, in pancakes, but never in soy sauce. I was very interested in this recipe. I bought pork liver and decided to make the liver in soy sauce. I prepared it exactly according to the recipe, increasing the quantity using the site’s calculator, which is very convenient. Very simple cooking process. No hassles! I cut the liver, added all the spices according to the list and fried it until golden brown. I took smoked paprika. Pour in soy sauce and sugar and simmer the liver for 2 minutes. I added boiling water and simmered under the lid for 10 minutes, as the author writes. After tasting the liver, I added a little salt. Oh, how tender she is!!! The liver turned out great! A very flavorful dish thanks to the spices! With such a short cooking time, the liver turned out juicy and soft!!! The liver in soy sauce is very tasty! The gravy also came in handy, but I didn’t have starch flakes) I served liver in soy sauce with potatoes for dinner. Well, very tasty! Great aftertaste! I recommend everyone to try it! Thanks to the author for a new recipe in my piggy bank)))
