    Since the lemon is used in the drink along with the peel, rinse the fruit thoroughly, scrub with a brush and rinse again. Then cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice out of the halves. It is more convenient to do this with a manual or electric juicer.

It's hot right now and I wanted to cook something refreshing and invigorating. My choice fell on a recipe for a drink made from lemon, ginger, turmeric and honey. I had all the necessary ingredients, except honey. I replaced the honey with the same amount of sugar. I added sugar when the lemon zest and ginger were cooking. The drink turned out to be a beautiful yellow color. Its taste is bright, rich with a pleasant pungency from ginger. Turmeric is felt in the drink, but very harmoniously, not standing out much among other ingredients. The whole family, both children and adults, liked this drink. I have heard and read many times that ginger is very beneficial. Yes, both lemon and honey are also useful. But the taste of this drink is very much for everyone; personally, I generally cannot stand the taste and smell of ginger.
