Kefir cake in a slow cooker

The multicooker can handle any task - it will prepare a cake even with kefir. Kefir cake can only be prepared in a slow cooker; I couldn’t do it in the oven. It’s easy to prepare and the cake turns out very tender, and if you add zest, it has a wonderful orange aroma.

Hello. I did everything as stated in the recipe (except that I added cherries instead of zest), but for some reason the dough did not rise and became dense, although I did everything as in the recipe. I would like to know the reason from you, as from the experts. Thank you.

The top turns out pale, I had to brown it in the oven with the top grill, but it’s fine
