How to make homemade croutons for beer? Prepare your food. Any bread for croutons is suitable, both white and black, I have rye Darnitsky. The most flavorful crackers will come from Borodino bread. Use refined, odorless oil. You can take both olive and sunflower.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the bread into long pieces of equal size. It is more convenient to cut even pieces, so you can first cut off the crusts, giving the piece a square or rectangular shape. You can also choose another cutting method - cubes or thin strips.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Take a deep bowl, pour vegetable oil into it. Peel the garlic cloves and then squeeze them through a press into the oil. Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste; you can use more or less. Add salt and ground black pepper to the oil. You can also add any spices or herbs.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Stir the butter and ingredients with a fork to disperse the garlic. Place the sliced bread into a bowl. Mix it with your hands so that each piece is saturated with oil.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Take a baking tray and line it with baking paper. Place the pieces on it in one layer - this way they will fry evenly. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180°C.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

After 7-10 minutes, remove the baking sheet, but do not turn off the heat. Stir the croutons and return to the oven. Fry them for about 7 minutes until golden brown. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the pieces. Take out the crackers and pour into a plate.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Serve to the table. Bon appetit!

The homemade croutons for beer turned out great. First, I dried them in the oven for 5-7 minutes, and only then rolled them in oil mixed with salt, garlic and dill (I have fresh, chopped garlic and dill), so the oil was distributed more evenly. Crackers are easy to make, but take a long time. They need to be dried in the oven, stirring constantly so as not to burn. Very tasty, I recommend making it!
