Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
We’ll prepare all the necessary ingredients for the soup according to the list, peel and wash the vegetables, and let’s get started. Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan and put on fire.

While the water is boiling in the pan, cut the onion into small cubes.
STEP 3
We also cut the carrots into small cubes.
STEP 4
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, add onion and carrot cubes into it and mix. Place the frying pan with the onions and carrots over high heat and fry, stirring, for 5 minutes.

Next, put the minced beef in the pan and continue to fry, stirring, for about ten minutes.
STEP 6
Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into large cubes.
STEP 7
Place the chopped potatoes in a pan of boiling water and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
STEP 8
Add spices to the minced meat with onions and carrots.
STEP 9
Mix the minced meat and cook for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
STEP 10
Meanwhile, wash the rice and drain the water.
STEP 11
10 minutes after the potatoes, add rice to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes.
STEP 12
5 minutes after the rice, remove the frying pan with the fried minced meat with onions and carrots from the heat and transfer it to the pan.
STEP 13
Now add salt to the soup and stir.
STEP 14
Next, add a bay leaf to the soup and continue to cook over low heat for another ten minutes.
STEP 15
Meanwhile, dilute tomato paste in water.
STEP 16
Finely chop fresh herbs.
STEP 17
Pass the garlic through a press.
STEP 18
Pour the resulting tomato juice into the soup and let it boil.
STEP 19
Following the tomato, add the garlic passed through a press into the pan.
STEP 20
After the garlic, pour the chopped herbs into the soup and mix the soup thoroughly again.
STEP 21
Cover the pan with a lid and let it simmer for no more than a minute, then remove the pan with the soup from the heat.
STEP 22
Pour the hot ground beef soup into bowls and serve for lunch.
