Frozen lingonberry juice
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make fruit drink from frozen lingonberries? First, prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use sugar instead of honey. The amount of honey or sugar can be varied depending on taste preferences.
STEP 2
Pour the frozen berries into a bowl of a suitable size and leave for half an hour to an hour so that they defrost a little. The berries can be rinsed with clean water first if there is forest debris on them or ice has frozen over them. When the berries have melted, transfer them to the bowl of a food processor or blender and puree them.
STEP 3
In a large saucepan, heat water to 30-40 degrees and dilute honey in it. At temperatures above 40 degrees, honey loses its beneficial properties. If you don't have a cooking thermometer, you can check the temperature by dipping your little finger in the water. The water should not burn your finger. If you use sugar, it is better to boil the water so that the sugar crystals dissolve better.
STEP 4
Pour lingonberry puree with a small amount of water and honey and mix well.
STEP 5
Strain the mixture through a fine sieve, cheesecloth or clean cotton cloth. Squeeze out the berry pulp; you won’t need it anymore.
STEP 6
Pour the strained liquid into a saucepan with honey water and stir.
STEP 7
Morse is ready. It can be stored in the refrigerator for quite a long time, but it is better to drink it fresh.
