  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry beef liver with onions in a frying pan? For frying, it is better to use fresh liver, but if it is frozen, defrost it completely in the refrigerator. Why is this so? With a sharp change in temperature, tissue ruptures, the product loses its juiciness and the liver turns out dry. If the liver is defrosted gradually, it will turn out tasty and juicy. Rinse the liver, remove films and veins.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the liver into portions approximately one centimeter thick. To prevent the liver from becoming bitter, it is better to soak it in milk for half an hour. Then drain the milk and dry the liver with a paper towel.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add salt and pepper to the flour, stir, roll each piece of liver in flour on all sides.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the liver. Fry the pieces on both sides, for about five minutes on each, no longer - this is the main secret of the softness of the finished dish. Read the articles at the end of the recipe for how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the onion, rinse, cut into half rings or smaller.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Fry the onion in a small amount of oil in a separate frying pan until golden brown. Then add it to the liver, stir. Beef liver fried with onions is ready. The liver turns out very soft and juicy - the main thing is not to overcook it. Serve it with any side dish at the table. Bon appetit!

The dish really turned out very tasty. Beef liver with onions fried in a frying pan is really soft. For a side dish, I cooked baked potatoes in the oven. The combination is excellent. But there is one caveat. The first time I fried the liver for 5 minutes, turned it over to the other side. When the time was up, the liver was still raw. Of course, it is not the author's fault. Everyone's plates are different. I have an induction cooker and fried it at 5 degrees. In terms of time, I got a total of 15 minutes. But the liver turned out not tough. I think that the milk in which it was soaked affected the softness of the liver. And also, I replaced the ground black pepper to my taste with the khmeli-suneli seasoning. Thanks to the author for the recipe.

Made it today. My stove kicked up, so the onions were stewed rather than fried...) And there was a lot of onions, as we like☺️, so I stewed the finished liver in the onions for about 30-40 minutes. It turned out very tasty! Thank you ❤️!
