STEP 1

First, I recommend checking whether you have a paddle for kneading dough installed in the bowl of your bread machine. And sometimes it happens that you load all the ingredients, and only then remember about this blade. And in the end you have to destroy the beautiful mound of ingredients and replace the dough mixer. So, first fill in the water. It should be at room temperature. Then add dry milk, salt, sugar, vegetable oil. Then add flour.
STEP 2

It is recommended to add sifted flour. This is done in order to avoid the entry of foreign bodies. It is also believed that when sifting, flour is enriched with oxygen. Whether this is true or not is difficult to say, but in any case, the flour becomes looser, and then the dough becomes more fluffy. The very last thing to add is yeast. I usually use dry yeast. If you have raw ones, you must first dilute them with warm milk and a pinch of sugar.
STEP 3

Close the lid and select the “French bread” mode. I chose “750 g” weight, “Dark” crust. On my Redmond bread machine, the cooking time is 3 hours 52 minutes. While kneading the dough, I look into the bread machine several times and help it a little. I use a silicone spatula from the sides of the bowl to move the flour towards the center, towards the dough.
STEP 4

Sometimes you don’t need to do this, all the ingredients mix well and mix themselves. But it happens that the flour remains on the walls, then it is baked and the bread turns out not very beautiful. But if you looked into the bread maker and saw such beauty, then you don’t have to do anything, close the lid and wait for the end of the mode.
STEP 5

After you hear a sound indicating that the bread is ready, take out the container. And carefully shake out the bread.
STEP 6

You can't cut it right away. You need to wait until the bread cools down. Otherwise the crumb will be sticky.
