Easter holiday

A very beautiful Easter will delight the whole family and guests! For a very long time we believed that Easter and Easter cake were the same thing. Only about 10 years ago I saw a recipe in a cookbook, and now I prepare Easter for the holiday only using this recipe. I modified it a little to make it more convenient to cook, but in principle I didn’t make any major changes. I will be glad if you like this recipe. It looks a little troublesome, but it pays off handsomely - Easter turns out tender, this is a wonderful delicacy that everyone in our family likes. In addition, you can make cottage cheese cakes in almost the same way, which children eat with pleasure.

breik, this Easter is simply amazing! In general, I adore cottage cheese in all its forms, and even more so I love Easter cottage cheese. I prepared this Easter, replacing only sour cream with cream. I haven’t tried adding sesame yet - thank you for the great idea - I’ll be happy to experiment!

I cooked Easter using a similar recipe, I don’t see the point in posting a similar recipe, I cooked it without sesame seeds, and I decorated it at my own discretion, if you don’t mind

Thanks for the feedback, girls! In general, this is the only thing I cook under the guidance of my husband. He watches every step, never deviating from the recipe. But it turns out delicious, you'll lick your fingers and swallow it. Lucy, of course. Why should I be against it? We cook without decorations. This is according to Christian custom, because Easter itself is “honey and milk” (I read somewhere), so it should be “modest on the outside, and divinely pleasant to the taste.” This is how Easter turns out..
