    How to make donuts at home? Prepare all ingredients. Heat the milk to 40°. It should be warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will die. Pour yeast and 1 tbsp into milk. sugar, stir and leave for 10 minutes in a warm place to activate the yeast. Sift the flour into a deep bowl and add all the remaining products intended for the dough: salt, sugar, egg, butter and vanillin. Next, pour in the yeast mixture.

    Mix everything with a spoon and start kneading the dough with your hands right in the bowl.

    Then transfer the dough back into the bowl and cover with cling film. Leave the dough to rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Return the risen dough to the work surface; do not add any more flour.

    Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a layer 1 cm thick. To form donuts you will need two round molds. I used a 9 cm diameter lettuce ring and a plastic bottle cap. Use a ring to cut out circles, and a lid to cut out the middle. Roll the remaining dough into a ball again, roll it out with a rolling pin and make donuts out of it. I got 10 pieces.

    Place donuts on paper towels to drain excess oil.

    Prepare the necessary ingredients for the glaze. Mix cocoa, sugar and milk in an iron bowl or saucepan. Cook everything over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. It took me about 15 minutes. Add butter to the frosting and stir.

    Dip one side of the cooled donuts into the glaze. If desired, decorate donuts with sprinkles. Bon appetit!

Very tasty donuts! Sprinkled with confectionery sprinkles and some ground walnuts. Airy and soft! With hot tea they disappeared from the table instantly
