If you use sour cream, for example, 10% fat, then the sauce will turn out liquid. And if you try to decorate a dish with it, nothing will work, it will spread too much. Conversely, a sauce that is too thick will not spread at all, and it will also not look beautiful on the dish.

    Peel and chop the garlic with a knife, or grate it on a fine grater or put it through a garlic press, as I did. Place the chopped garlic in a bowl with the sour cream and add salt, stir, let the sauce become saturated with the aroma of garlic. You can add more garlic if you wish, if you like its pronounced taste, adding 2 cloves of garlic will give it a light taste and aftertaste.

I have 20% sour cream, you could even take a lower percentage. Although the vegetables gave juice and the sauce became more liquid) I let the sauce sit in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, and then dressed the salad with it. It turned out very tasty! My husband asked me to make a sauce with garlic, after looking at the recipes on the website, I settled on sour cream and garlic sauce. To soften the sour cream, I added mayonnaise to the sauce, taking both of these ingredients in a 1:1 ratio, 2.5 tbsp each. l.I grated the garlic on a medium grater. I took frozen dill; if it is inferior to fresh dill in terms of taste, it is only slightly; dishes with it turn out very aromatic and appetizing. I added a little salt to sour cream and mayonnaise, added garlic and dill, and mixed. As advised in the recipe, I put the sauce in the refrigerator for 10 minutes so that it absorbs the aroma and taste of garlic and dill. I like this sauce in combination with black bread. My husband adds it to the first and second courses. In any case, it turns out very tasty! The consistency, taste, and aroma of the sauce turned out wonderful! A very tasty sauce) due to the fact that it is similar to tartar, I decided to add pickled cucumbers. I think if you sweeten it more it will taste better
