STEP 1
Wash dried fruits thoroughly under running water. Ideally, after washing, keep them in boiling water for about 10 minutes to remove debris and kill germs.
STEP 2

Place dried fruits in boiling water and cook for about 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat, add citric acid and leave the compote for an hour under the lid.
STEP 4

The recipe is relevant in winter, thank you. Such a compote can be cooked even from just dried apricots. Tasty too.

I made a compote of dried apricots and prunes. I reduced the amount of sugar to my taste, added it to the water gradually, tasting it, and as a result, a little sugar remained from 150 g. This of course depends on individual preference. A very tasty, aromatic and of course healthy drink! Thank you Snezhana!
