STEP 1
How to make a classic fish and chip salad? Prepare your food. Take any canned food in its own juice, I have tuna. Instead of canned food, you can use boiled fish fillets or hot smoked fish, cleaned of bones. Pre-boil vegetables and eggs and cool.
STEP 2
Open the jar of fish and drain the liquid. Place the fish itself in a bowl and mash with a fork. If there are large bones in it, remove them.
STEP 3
How to cook vegetables for salad? Wash the tubers well with a brush under running water and place them in a saucepan. Fill with clean cold water and cook over medium heat. After boiling, cook the potatoes and carrots for about 30 minutes. The exact time will depend on the size of the vegetables. Check readiness with a knife - it should easily pierce the fruit.
STEP 4
Cool the boiled vegetables and peel them. Cut them into small cubes.
STEP 5
Also cut the peeled eggs into cubes. The salad will look beautiful and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape.
STEP 6
Add the chopped vegetables and eggs to the bowl with the fish. Salt and pepper the salad to taste. You can also add chopped onions and herbs to it.
STEP 7
Mix the ingredients. The salad is ready, you can season it and serve. Or put it in the refrigerator and season it just before serving. In addition to vegetable oil, mayonnaise is suitable for dressing, but with oil the salad turns out healthier.
STEP 8
You can serve the salad either in a salad bowl or in portions, placing it using a cooking ring. Garnish the salad with herbs to taste. Bon appetit!
