Chocolate mousse for dessert

The most delicious, original, for the holiday table! This chocolate mousse is made in an unusual way. Among other things, it needs to be beaten with a mixer. As a result, it turns out surprisingly airy and tender, and with alcohol it is also piquant. The best dessert, especially for women's holidays!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chocolate mousse? Prepare your ingredients. Take dark chocolate with a minimum cocoa content of 70%. Instead of cognac, you can use whiskey or brandy. Sugar can also be brown.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Break the chocolate into small pieces.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place chocolate in a saucepan and add sugar. Pour in water and cognac.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stirring constantly, melt the chocolate. The mixture should be fairly fluid.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour the chocolate mixture into a bowl or bowl. Cool to room temperature.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place ice cubes in another bowl, slightly larger.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Set the bowl of chocolate in a bowl of ice to ensure the bottom cools evenly.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Beat the chocolate with a mixer at medium speed. At the very beginning of beating, nothing happens. But as it gradually cools, the chocolate mixture will begin to thicken. Do not beat the mousse for too long, otherwise it will lose its airiness.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Transfer the airy chocolate mousse into bowls. Place the mousse in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Before serving, decorate the chocolate mousse with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon and cocoa. Bon appetit!

I have some dark chocolate with nuts lying around. Nobody wanted to eat it anymore, but it was a shame to throw it away. I decided to look on the website what can be prepared from it. I liked the recipe for chocolate mousse for dessert. I had a little more than 150 grams of chocolate. Cognac was replaced with milk. Making this mousse is very simple and doesn’t take much time. The melted chocolate took the longest to cool. I beat the chocolate for about 2 minutes at the minimum speed of the mixer, after which I poured it into bowls and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, as indicated in the recipe. The mousse turned out wonderful! It is moderately sweet and has a bright, rich chocolate taste. In terms of consistency, it turned out to be not thick, but not liquid either, rather viscous. The best part is that it is easy to prepare. A great dessert option for the holidays. Maria, thank you very much for the recipe!

I cooked for 6 servings and increased the amount of ingredients. It turned out to be a very tasty and aromatic dessert! Following the author's advice, I decorated the mousse with whipped cream. But I didn’t really like the way my cream looked (more shapeless), so I also sprinkled cocoa on top.

What can replace alcohol?
