Chicken breast steak in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to fry chicken breast steak in a frying pan? Prepare your food. The steak will turn out juicier and tastier if you take chilled meat; if frozen, it may come out dry. First of all, wash the chicken breast, dry it and cut each fillet lengthwise into two parts.
STEP 2
Next, process the steaks on both sides using a special culinary tool - a tenderizer. He makes small cuts in the top layer of meat. Make cuts in pairs perpendicularly. That is, sometimes vertically, sometimes horizontally. The photo shows the resulting pattern of squares. If you don’t have such a tool, prick the fillet often with a fork. This is done so that the meat better absorbs salt and spices.
STEP 3
Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and cover with cold or room temperature water. It should cover the meat entirely. Add salt and stir the brine. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave in the refrigerator for twenty minutes. Or better yet, for half an hour.
STEP 4
After this time, drain the water. And be sure to dry the fillet with paper towels, otherwise excess moisture will prevent it from frying - it will stew.
STEP 5
Heat a low-sided frying pan over high heat. Add vegetable oil and heat it well. Reduce heat to medium. Place the first batch of steaks in the pan.
STEP 6
As soon as the meat is browned on one side, turn it over to the other. It took me about four minutes.
STEP 7
Place a little finely grated garlic on each steak and sprinkle with Italian herbs. Or any other spices to taste. Fry the steak on the other side for 4 minutes.
STEP 8
Then place a little butter on each piece of meat. And, as soon as it has melted by more than half, turn the steaks over again. Keep them on the fire for literally another minute and serve immediately. Vegetables or salad are perfect as a side dish. Bon appetit!
