How to store them later? Is it likely to get damp in the refrigerator? or they will be dry and will not be, they will probably look like dried

interesting recipe...and the finished product is clearly healthier than chemicals from the store. One friend who works in the food industry said that store-bought candied fruits are often made from zucchini, which they then paint with different dyes... and here it’s a natural product!

It seems to me that homemade candied fruits should be stored, like home-dried fruits, in a dry place, in tightly closed dry jars or paper bags.

Fiesta, what the candied watermelon will be like depends on how long you dried it. They can be dried to a crust, or they can be left slightly moist, like lemon drop marmalade. I usually store them in a plastic bag or in a plastic container that closes tightly with a lid. The main thing is that there is no moisture around and air does not penetrate inside.

LuSey, for all candied fruits in general. To me, they all taste the same, just different colors. These are good because they do not contain any chemicals or additives, they are natural products.
