  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make canapés with sausage, cucumber and cheese on skewers? Prepare your food. Using a knife, cut out small squares from the bread. My squares turned out to be 3.8 cm. The size can be changed, but remember that the canapés cannot be too large (you’ll end up with a sandwich), but these canapés won’t turn out very small either because of the cucumber. Dry the pieces in an oven preheated to 180ºC for 5 minutes so that they are crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Now cut the cheese slices in the same way as the bread, they should be the same size. Wash the cucumber, dry it and cut it into thin strips on a slicer so that later they will be easy to work with and will bend well. Also use sausage in slices, like cheese, because such canapés will look neater.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Now that all the ingredients are prepared, you can proceed directly to assembling the canapés. Lightly brush the crispy pieces of bread with a little butter to make the canapés more tender. Place a square of cheese on top of each piece.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Now assemble the other part of the canapé. To do this, take a skewer (preferably bamboo or wood, plastic ones will “forgive” the dish and look cheap) and stick an olive on it (use pitted olives). Now plant the cucumber in a wave-like manner. Fold a piece of sausage in half, then in half again and also place it on a skewer. Do this procedure with all the skewers and food that needs to be skewered.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Take a skewer with all the ingredients on it and stick it into the center of a piece of bread with cheese. Repeat this procedure with the remaining skewers and squares of bread with cheese. Bon appetit!

They look amazing. Well done author! I'm still impressed by these canapés with grapes and brie cheese. I will also cook for the holiday table.

I prepared canapés with sausage and cheese on skewers according to this recipe. True, I don’t have skewers, I replaced them with toothpicks. For the preparation I used a loaf of bread, raw smoked sausage, hard rhodomer cheese, pitted olives, and cucumbers. I cut cheese, sausage and loaf into squares. Cut the cucumber into thin slices. I greased the loaf squares with butter. I assembled it according to the description in the canapé recipe. I pinned everything on toothpicks and hung an olive on top. The original canapés came out. Fast, simple and beautiful. It didn’t turn out as cool as the author’s, of course. The taste is excellent, it is convenient to eat, the products combine well. The child called the canapés "ships". Great recipe! Thanks to the author)
