I decided to diversify our menu and find some new barbecue sauce. The choice fell on the sauce for this recipe; all the ingredients were available. I finely chopped the onion with a knife, couldn’t resist adding my own garlic from a jar of pickled cucumbers. The cucumber took out the last one and decided that the garlic would become very lonely in a large jar, and “you can’t spoil the porridge with oil.” The sauce rested in the refrigerator for 2 hours. This is the sauce I prepared for barbecue. In general, I haven’t tried the original sauce, so I have nothing to compare it with. But after reading the ingredients, I realized that I would definitely like it) And not only me, our whole company gladly preferred the sauce I made to the same ketchup. True, it was a small portion, but it was enough for everyone. For the sauce I used thick mayonnaise with lemon juice, homemade ketchup, and purple onions. I took a spicy cucumber from my stock, grated it on a medium grater and squeezed it. Although it was possible not to squeeze it out, then the consistency would have been thinner. But this is what you like) Adding sugar and apple cider vinegar gave it a pleasant sweet and sour note. This sauce combines sour, sweet, salty and bitter. And the combination is very tasty, excites the taste buds) The sauce goes well with the meat. Everyone liked the consistency, the pieces were not large, the onion and cucumber had a pleasant crunch. I will use this recipe again.
