Alfredo sauce for pasta

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make Alfredo sauce for pasta? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose cream with a fat content of 20%. The fattier the cream, the tastier the sauce will be. Use high quality butter, without milk fat substitutes. Grate Parmesan on a fine grater.
STEP 2

Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed frying pan over low heat. If desired, you can add a few crushed cloves of garlic to make the sauce piquant.
STEP 3

Pour cream into melted butter. The sauce must be stirred constantly so that it does not burn. Therefore, as soon as you pour in the cream, reduce the heat and, stirring continuously, bring it to a boil.
STEP 4

When the cream begins to boil, add salt and pepper to taste. Reduce the heat so that the cream and butter do not boil, but simmer.
STEP 5

Place grated Parmesan cheese in a frying pan with cream.
STEP 6

Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese has melted, then remove the pan from the heat. The sauce can be used for more than just pasta. Alfredo sauce is suitable for pizza, chicken. Bon appetit!
