Airy cupcakes with cherries

STEP 1

Remove the butter from the refrigerator a few hours before cooking to allow it to soften. Or melt it in a water bath.
STEP 2

Add all the sugar to the butter at once. Mix thoroughly until a creamy mass forms. I mix with a regular fork.
STEP 3

Only after thoroughly mixing the butter and sugar can you add the following ingredients.
STEP 4

Beat in the eggs, one at a time. After adding each, beat vigorously with a fork or whisk. Add vanilla sugar along with the eggs.
STEP 5

Add flour and baking powder. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.
STEP 6

The consistency of the dough should resemble thick sour cream.
STEP 7

Wash the cherries and place them on a dry towel to remove excess water. Separate from the seeds and add to the dough. To stir thoroughly.
STEP 8

Divide the dough into the molds, filling them halfway (as the dough will rise). Place in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
STEP 9

Check the readiness of the cupcakes using a toothpick: insert a dry toothpick into the cupcake and immediately remove it; if there are no traces of dough on the toothpick, then the baked goods are ready.
STEP 10

This is what the inside of the cupcake looks like. The dough is soft and airy. The aroma of vanilla is felt. Very tasty muffins, even the next day after cooking.
