Vodka Martini James Bond cocktail
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

For a cocktail, all ingredients and the glass itself must be chilled before serving. Martini is used dry, white. If you want to taste like James Bond, choose Italian vermouth.
STEP 2

To serve, use a Martin glass; cool it with ice or place it in the refrigerator.
STEP 3

Also cool the mixing glass by filling it with ice cubes.
STEP 4

Replace the ice in the glass with fresh ice and pour 15 ml of Martini. I used Italian vermouth Bianco. Then stir the contents of the glass vigorously with the back of a spoon for 8 seconds. The ice must be saturated with the aroma of the martini.
STEP 5

Immediately pour in cold vodka.
STEP 6

And stir again for 8-10 seconds.
STEP 7

Place the cooling ice from the martin back into the ice container.
STEP 8

Pour the cocktail through a strainer/bar strainer into a pre-chilled glass. Before serving, garnish the cocktail with two olives on a toothpick or bar skewer.
STEP 9

The classic serving is to add one olive to the cocktail. In variants, use a few drops from the zest for aroma and the lemon zest itself on the edge of the glass. The drink is quite strong 35' - 37'. Since highly chilled liquids do not mix well with each other, the cocktail is like a mixture of “pieces” from various recipe ingredients. You need to drink it in small, slow sips - then each time the taste will be different.
