This must be an industrial frying pan to fit all the ingredients in which to cook half a kilo of noodles???!!! Where does the water go after boiling noodles? Will this make soup? Why is the recipe listed in the second courses?! Or is already cooked vermicelli added to the dressing? Varvara, explain HOW you cook?

Rainbow, this is such a simple version of lagman. I usually take not even a frying pan, but a cauldron or a saucepan with a thick bottom. Everything fits in there very easily. And it’s still more of a second course, because it turns out thick. It’s like spaghetti with sauce.

Thank you, Varvara! I also realized that it looked like the lagman I adore. But the already cooked noodles are poured with gravy. I’ll do that, and I don’t have a cauldron. I want to cook it up and photograph the process.
