Sugar icing for cupcakes

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make sugar icing for cupcakes? Very simple! Prepare all the necessary ingredients, you only need two. And after just five minutes of active cooking time, you can decorate the cupcake.
STEP 2

Sift the powdered sugar through a fine strainer into the bowl in which you will mix the glaze.
STEP 3

I advise you not to neglect this point, because after sifting, large grains of sugar will remain, and the texture of the future glaze will be more uniform.
STEP 4

Wash the lemon thoroughly under running water using food grade soap. Cut into slices about half a centimeter thick. This is exactly how it’s more convenient for me to squeeze juice.
STEP 5

Squeeze the lemon juice into a separate bowl and be sure to use a fine strainer. This way, you will get pure lemon juice, without unnecessary pulp in the future glaze and, especially, without seeds. If you wish, you can get juice from lemon in another way convenient for you, do not forget to then pass it through a sieve.
STEP 6

Add some lemon juice to the bowl with the powdered sugar. I advise you to start with one third of the total volume of lemon juice. Mix the glaze with a blender with a whisk attachment at the lowest speed. You can also use a mixer or hand whisk.
STEP 7

It is necessary to evaluate the consistency of the glaze and, depending on the desired result, either add more lemon juice or complete cooking. The mass should not be very liquid. Use a simple lemon glaze for cupcakes and other baked goods. Have fun cooking!
