    Peel the sausage from the casing and cut it into small cubes with a knife. Sausages - into circles. Chop the cabbage in any way - it will be delicious both in strips and in cubes. Pour vegetable oil for frying into a saucepan or deep frying pan with a thick bottom.

    Place shredded cabbage on oil. Pour in a couple of tablespoons of water. Turn on the fire. Cover the pan with a lid. Simmer the cabbage over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Then stir it. The cabbage should become soft and settle, decreasing in volume. The amount of liquid will increase slightly because the cabbage will release juice. Cover the pan again with a lid and simmer the cabbage for about 10 minutes.

If there is water left in the cabbage, remove the lid from the pan and hold it there for about 5 minutes until the liquid has completely evaporated. Place the cooked sausage into the pan with the cabbage. Stir, cover the pan with a lid again. Fry the cabbage and sausage for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spatula, until the sausage is browned.

I really love stewed cabbage with sausage! This time I replaced the boiled sausage with sausage, which I cut into semicircles. The cabbage was thinly sliced ​​and stewed with vegetable oil for about 20 minutes under the lid. Periodically stirred and added chicken broth (instead of water), which was just cooking nearby on the stove. Then I added pieces of sausage and tomato. Seasoned with an aromatic mixture of peppers and simmered for another 15 minutes. With prolonged simmering, the tomato paste is better distributed in the dish and envelops each piece in an appetizing, bright sauce. This dish, although simple, is very tasty, juicy and affordable. My husband and I enjoyed dinner with stewed cabbage and homemade pickles.
