Squid with rice

A very tasty second course for seafood lovers! The seas and oceans regularly replenish our diet with seafood. By using squid in food, we get the protein and beneficial minerals and microelements the body needs. These are not only healthy, but also simply delicious dishes. Squids are prepared with different products: vegetables, rice. They are stuffed, boiled and fried, used as minced meat for cutlets and casseroles, and used as a filling for pancakes. I recently made a recipe for squid with rice and really liked it. Simple and delicious.

    Defrost the squid carcasses, rinse them thoroughly, and boil them in salted water. Long cooking is not required, only 3-4 minutes after boiling water.

    Cool the squid without removing it from the water, cut it into thin strips, like homemade noodles.

    We peel the thick-walled sweet pepper, wash it, and cut it into strips to match the squid. We wash the dill and onions with running water and chop them.

    Mix boiled rice, squid strips, and bell pepper in a cup. Salt the dish to taste and add allspice black pepper.

    Season everything with our favorite mayonnaise and you’re ready to eat.
